Are you a first-rate project manager with an understanding of product and packaging development in the Drinks or FMCG sector? The Gin Hub is looking for a fantastic Innovation Project Manager to work in the Marketing team to keep our brands at the forefront of innovation in the industry.

The Gin Hub is a standalone business within Pernod Ricard’s Chivas Brothers affiliate established in 2017 to spearhead the growth of the three largest Gin brands in Pernod Ricard’s portfolio, Beefeater, Plymouth Gin and Seagram’s outside of the USA. It was established to give more focus to gin and enable our Gins brand team to work in a more agile and entrepreneurial way.

 

In the Innovation Manager role, you will:

 

  • Manage multiple innovation projects, ensuring they launch on time across the world

  • Create a plan for each project to understand where interdependencies are, agree deliverables and timings with each stakeholder

  • Formulate project objectives, prepare project plans and coordinates, and perform and report on risk analyses

  • Lead cross-functional teams (including R&D, procurement, UK and international supply chain, technical, agencies and finance), acting as the liaison and point of contact between all of them

  • Report and update on the progress of each project

  • Proactively build solutions as ambiguous problems arise

  • Build and own key documents such as legal approvals, project charts, forecasting and P&L

  • Use technical and business knowledge to influence commercial, supply chain, and purchasing in strategic decision making processes

 

As part of The Gin Hub’s progressive growth plans, we need a confident and experienced product development project manager to manage the full end to end lifecycle of our innovations – from initial concept to market launch. So you will have a proven track record of delivering results and programs on time and have the ability to drive and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.  The ability to communicate effectively is necessary to work with and manage cross-functional teams across the business and geographies.

 

There will be some travel involved with this role.
