From the Finest blend to single malts, an aged range to bold new flavours, Ballantine’s has one of the most extensive ranges of whiskies in the world.
Ballantine’s roots trace back to 1827, starting with a Scottish greengrocer named George Ballantine. After owning his grocery store for nine years, George turned his hand to the art of ageing whiskies, specialising in quality, hand-selected malts and by 1910 Ballantine’s Finest was born, which has stayed true to its original recipe ever since.
Ballantine’s was created as a whisky for everyone; the brand lives and breathes by its motto ‘Amicus Humani Generis’, or ‘A Friend to All Humankind’, which has adorned the crest of every bottle for more than 100 years. It celebrates self-expression and encourages people to live life their way, showing that when you stay true to who you are and free yourself from society's expectations, there's no wrong way to live.
